Dusk is spiced apple and cinnamon, honeyed and floral, with medium body from Cusco black tea. Low caffeine, well below a straight cup.
Most evening teas are not tea at all; Dusk keeps a little. Caffeine-sensitive? Rooted and Gather are caffeine-free. The pouch makes about 40 cups, so about 80 cents a cup.

Ingredients & origin
Apple, cinnamon, lavender, chamomile, Amazonian vanilla, Cusco black tea, lemon balm.
Chamomile and lemon balm have everyday Spanish names: manzanilla and toronjil. Apple and cinnamon belong to the same pantry. Cusco black tea gives the cup body, the way a stew needs broth and not just water.
Blended in Peru. Ingredients include Peruvian and globally sourced botanicals. Read what “Blended in Peru” really means →
How to brew
Loose botanicals are forgiving. Use a heaping spoon per cup and give it the full time. For a bolder cup, add more leaf, not more minutes.
Tea bags brew fast because they are filled with fine dust. Whole leaves and roots need more time to open. The longer steep is where the flavor is.
One heaped tablespoon per 8 oz cup · 6–8 minutes · Hot
- Boil fresh water.
- Add one heaped tablespoon of Dusk to your infuser.
- Pour. Steep 6 to 8 minutes, tasting at 6: long enough for the lavender and chamomile to open, before the black tea turns tannic.
- Strain into your mug.
Dusk is for the evening. Low caffeine from Cusco black tea.
