The story, briefly
In Spanish, menjunjes means concoctions: the mix someone makes by hand, a little of this, a little of that. The four blends are built from plants rarely seen in US retail tea (boldo, camu camu, guanábana leaf) alongside Cusco green and black tea, Villa Rica cardamom, and Amazonian vanilla. Blended in Peru. Ingredients include Peruvian and globally sourced botanicals.
Menjunjes makes no health claims: product copy describes traditional use, place, and taste, and every ingredient is named on the pouch. The brand is deliberately product-forward — no founder face on the label, no founder story in the copy.
The four blends
Four blends: morning, after-meal, evening, company.
- Daybreak
- Morning. Orange, Cusco green tea, Villa Rica cardamom, lemongrass, calendula. Naturally caffeinated, with less caffeine than a cup of coffee.
- Rooted
- Caffeine-free, for after a meal. Ginger, moringa, black mint, guanábana leaf, pineapple, turmeric, boldo. Boldo has its own after-meal cup in Chile and Peru: mate de boldo.
- Dusk
- The evening cup. Low caffeine from black tea. Apple, cinnamon, lavender, chamomile, Amazonian vanilla, Cusco black tea, lemon balm. After dinner.
- Gather
- For company, caffeine-free. Camu camu, hibiscus, cranberry, blueberry, Amazonian vanilla, strawberry, Butterfly Pea Flower. Tart, a little sweet; pours a deep berry red, its own color.
